Here is another companion program to make learning to read a little more fun. The Reading Lesson animated Storybook program is a great supplement for making daily lessons more engaging. This program contains 40 stories (kindergarten to a second grade reading level) that your child will enjoy.
The program contains the animated storybook and companion printable Stories in pdf format. “The Storybook” is a companion to “The Reading Lesson”, but it can be used independently.
As in The Reading Lesson, the stories start at beginning reading level and become more complex as your little reader continues through the program. The animated program pronounces the sounds in each story, so that the child can repeat the sound of the word as he or she reads it. The pictures in the story become animated with the click of a mouse! The stories are designed to be read by the child using the sound hints we provide and are not read to the child automatically.
Because the program provides a list of the numbered stories, they do not have to be picked in any specific order. The child can choose any story from the menu bar and pick a favorite one to read again or to print. Otherwise, the program is set up for the child to move forward or backward one story at a time, as well as one page at a time.
